lol Again you've made me laugh--happy PFF!
wise-whacks? Is this part of the joke ? I'm thinking wise-cracks is the word we would use now. Sign me confused.
A whacky joke? It made me wonder why the men in these cartoons are always so ugly. Happy PFF.
ha! your blog is like watching a carry on movie in instalments! naughty but nice...happy PFF!
Just as I was reading about sunscreens too. Bob's right, the men are always ugly. I wonder why.
Ouch! It is summer time .. remember your sun screen (all year round)...
Ooh, that looks painful. How times have changed - now there would be a lesson included.
I love the combo of "talc" and "oil". Makes me remember when we used to melt cocoa butter on our skin to get a good tan. Yikes!
I also remember oiling up for a bake in the sun. Yikes! This card reminds me of something that happened to me last summer ...I was in the drive-thru at BK, no AC in my car. It was over 100 degrees that day.I pulled up to the window to pay, and a handsome young man reached for my money. He did a double take and said "you look HOT!"I preened ... I mean he was half my age! Then he ruined the moment by adding "would you like some ICE water??"Tee hee!
Love the waves of heat coming off her back! Vividly drawn, funny too. (And Clytie's story is hilarious!)
